Review:

Wow what a book... I had really high expectations going into this book after reading both of Jennifer L. Armentrout's series and loving them and this book was no exception.

The plot. I have to admit when I started this book I thought that it was a little bit slow but about halfway through when someone unexpected reappears things start to pick up and it is non-stop action from them till the last page. There were so many unexpected plot twists in this book and everything just went together to make one epic and amazing read. For me the ending would have to have been the highlight of the book, there was so much emotion and it has left a great opening for what it going to happen in the next book.

The characters. I loved all the characters in this series, with each new book that I read they start to feel a lot more real and I become more attached to them.
Katy. I loved seeing more of Katy's charcter again and seeing the Luxen world throuh her eyes. I thought that she was a very relateable charcter and I loved seeing how emotional she was in this book and how I got to really feel all of the emotions she was feeling. I also loved seeing how she changed throughout the course of the book and how she got stronger and fought for the people around her.
Daemon. I really enjoyed Daemon's character in this book, I loved seeing his softer side when he was around Katy and just overall I thought that he was a lot softer in this book and really showed what he was feeling, though he still did have his great snarky comments that make these books so entertaining. I also loved seeing just how deep his love for Katy is from the last scene of the book and just being able to feel the pain and shock that he was feeling.

Overall I thought that this was a great third book in the series and I will definitely be pre-ordering "Origin".

Review:

I had no expectations when starting this book because I hadn't really heard anything about it, I just saw it on sale in my book shop and decided to give it a read. But I was pleasantly surprised.

The plot. I really did enjoy the plot. This book is definitely not your regular summer read, there is a lot of family mystery and drama as well as the typical boy and friend drama as well as rape, depression and suicide which I definitely was not expecting from this book but I did think that it add to the storyline. I loved how the story was told from multipul POV so I could see what all of the characters were thinking and feeling at different points in the book and also the pacing, I thought that the book flowed very well and was a very easy book to get through. But I do think that key points in the book were repeated throughout the book which I thought was un-needed and also that some storylines in the book and the way they turned out were pretty unrealistic.

The charcters. I wasn't really expecting much from the charcters in this book but I was really suprised I thought that they were all very well written and interesting to read about.
Summer, I really enjoyed reading about Summer's charcter. I thought that she was a very interesting and relateable character to read about. I thought that she took everything that happened to her throughout the book very well I liked seeing how she came more out of her shell in the book and even though she made some wrong choices in the book I think ultimately she has come out of her shell a lot more and has changed for the better.
Another charcter that I really enjoyed was Marquez. I thought that she had a very relateable and interesting personality and I loved reading the story from her POV. I loved her straight to the point attitude and I thought that she was a great friend for Summer to have.
The other characters that I really enjoyed were Seth and Diver. I thought that Seth was a great match for Summer and even though she made some bad choices toward the end of the book he was still there for her. Diver's charcter would have to be my favourite out of these two. he had such a unique personality and I just loved reading about him and he was always so down to earth and interesting so I cannot wait to see what happens to him in the next book.

Overall this was an enjoyable read, though not my favourite book I have read this summer. But I think this is a promising start to the series and I look foward to reading more of the books.

Review:

Loved, loved, LOVED this book. I had really high expectaions when I started reading this book after loving the rest of the series and this book has raised the bar even higher.

The plot. I loved the plot of this book, though I have to admit it took me two attempts to actually finish reading this book. The first time I had to put it down because it wasn't holding my interest but this time when I picked it up it was still a slow start but about half way through things started to really pick up and then it was non-stop action from there. I loved how fast-paced this book was and just how the story flowed, I loved how it was told from multipul POV but still centred around Tohr and No'One/Autumn and I REALLY loved the ending I thought that it was a great way to end the book.

The characters. I thought that all of the characters were great in this book and from after not reading th series for a while it became apparent to me just how much I have come to know and love all of the charcters in this series.
Tohr, I really felt for him in this book, I hated having to see him struggle while he tried to let Wellsie go and also come to terms with the relationship that was developing between him and Autumn. I really loved seeing how his character developed and how he changed throughout the book from being depressed at the start of the book to being happy and content with his life at the end.
Autumn. I really have come to love her throughout this book, I have to admit when I first started reading her charcter I didn't really like her but as the book progressed I have come to love her character like I do all of the others. I thought that she was very head-strong and did what she thought was right no matter what the consequences to herself and I also think that she is a great match for Tohr.

Overall I really did enjoy this book and I am so excited for the next book because it is going to be on one of my favourite characters (Qhuinn) so I will be pre-ordering that book very soon.

Review:

For me this book was a complete suprise. I knew it was going to be good because I loved reading "The Iron Fey" series and Julie Kagawa is an amazing author. But I was nervous to see what Ethan was going to be like in this book but I found that I really liked his character.

The plot. I loved being back in the Iron Fey world again and I loved the plot of this book from the very first page. I thought that the plot and charcter set up in the book was really good and how it went through things that had happened to Ethan previously. Another thing that I really liked about this book was how it was told from a male POV I thought that it was a nice change from constantly having a female perspective on everything. I thought that the book was really fast paced especilly when they were back in the Nevernever and having to try and find out what this new threat was. I loved seeing how Ethan and Kenzie's relationship developed throughout the story and I just found the book to be a really enjoyable read.

The characters. I loved Ethan's character. I thought that he was very strong minded and willed by seperating himself from the rest of the world just to make sure that nobody got hurt through him being able to see the fey. I loved how Ethan took Kali as a means to protect himself and others against the fey, I found it very interesting learning about the martial art and how it had also shaped his personality. I really liked seeing how his perspective changed throughout the book when he started to let Kenzie in and how by doing that it even changed his perspective on the fey.
I also loved Kenzie's character, I thought that she was a great match for Ethan. She was very strong willed herslef and she has had to go through some very tough things in her life. I loved how she was not afraid to take risks and to go after what she wanted or how she would do what needed to be done to protect the people she cared about.
The other characters that I loved were Keirann and Razor. I thought that Keirann was very strong willed and did what he needed to do to look after the people he cared about and for Razor I loved his charcter, he always had me laughing and made the book a lot more fun.

Overall I thought that this was a great start to the series and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review:

I was really suprised by this book, sure I had heard a few things about this book so I knew that it was good but was it only after reading it did I realise how good it was.

The plot. I loved the plot! Though I did think that it was slow to start off about half way through things started to really pick up and then I couldn't stop reading so many different things were happening, people were starting to show different sides to themselves but the thing that I definitely was not prepared for was the ending... It was so sad! But I thought that it fit the story very well and ultimitley made it an even better book. I loved seeing how relationships developed throughout the book aswell.

The characters. I thought that all of the charcters were written very realistically and that includes the side characters.
I loved Mia's character, I thought that she was so relateable because she had the same concerns and insecurities that a lot of teenage girls have and I just really liked seeing everything from her perspective so I was able to see what she was thinking and feeling about everything that was happening to her and around her. I thought that she dealt amazingly well with what happened in the end of the book and I just really ended up loving her character.
I also really loved Simon's charcter, though I didn't really know what to think of him at the start as Mia and his relationship started to deepen I got to see more of his personality and he became someone I really liked. He knew what he wanted in his life and he wasn't going to let anyone stand in the way of that and I also really loved the way he interacted with Mia and how he was so kind and caring towards her.
Some charcters that suprised me were Corinne and Beth by the end of the book they seemed to have completely turned their lives around and in Corinne's case had changed for the better which I was really pleased to see.

Overall I really enjoyed this book, it was a very thought-provoking book and really solidified the message of living everyday like it's your last. This is a book that I would highly recommend and one that I will be reading for summers to come.

Review:

I had high expectations going into this book because I had really enjoyed the first novel in the series "Catching Jordan" so I was excited to see that I would enjoy it as much as the first and if it would live up to my expectations which it did.

The plot. I really enjoyed the plot, I loved the forbidden romance and seeing how that played out as well as seeing how Parker's relationships developed with her friends and family throughout the book and how she dealt with the things that were happening in her life whether they be good or bad. I thought that the pacing of the story was really great and it had me turning page after page because I had to see what happened next in the story.

The characters. I loved Parker's character, I thought that she was really realistic and I loved her voive throughout the whole story. I really enjoyed seeing how she grew into her own person and started to do the things that she needed to do to for herself and how she took the courage to mend her friendhips and tried to make her wrongs right.
The other charcters that I liked in this book were Drew and Will, I thought that they were great character written really realistically and they both had their own issues to deal with which I got to see play out while reading the book. I thought that they were both really great friends to Parker, even though they weren't there when she needed them most they overall were still great friends to her.
The one charcter that I didn't like in this book was Brian, sure at first I liked him but as his realationship with Parker started to become more serious it showed who he truly was.

Overall I loved this book and I thought that it was a great summer read and a book that I will be reading for years to come.

Ten Things We Did (And Probably Shouldn't Have) by Sarah Mlynowski...

Review:

I had pretty high expectations fot this book. I was really looking foward to reading it after seeing rave reviews on it and everyone saying how great it was but for me it didn't hold up to my expectations.

The plot. I liked the idea of the plot, I thought that it looked cute and like a great book to read for summer so that's why I bought it. But this was a book that I couldn't finish, I got up to page 143 before I put it down. For me I didn't think that the plot was picking up and I gave it more of a chance then my normal rule of one hundred pages so I was a bit dissapointed in the plot of this book because I thought that the books idea showed promise, but for me I felt that it wasn't told in the best way.

The characters. I liked the charcters in this book I thought that the few that I read about were realistic.
April. I liked April's character, I thought that her reactions and feeling were very realitic for a girl going through her situation but there was something about her character that I couldn't really relate to and I think that might have been one of the reasons why I couldn't finish this book.
Vi, I really liked Vi's character she was really outgoing, adventurioud and fun and managed to bring April out of her shell a bit more.

Overall for me this book was a bit of a let down, I thought that the idea of the book had a lot of promise but just wasn't executed in a way that for me was attention grabbing enough, but I will update this review if I get around to finishing it.

Review:

I've always loved reading parts of the Covenant series from Aiden's persective and this was no exception.

The plot. I loved the plot of this novella, I have to admit when I first saw that this book was only eighty pages I was worried, I was wondering how Jennifer L. Armentrout would be able to make an amazing story within those eighty pages, but she managed to make an amazingly emotional and an all-around perfect book.
I loved seeing how Aiden's circle started to plot against Lucian and Seth and what lengths he would go to stop the war as well as protect Alex and try to get her back to her normal self. Something else I really loved in this novella was the interaction between Aiden and Alex even though she wasn't who she used to be I could see a sliver of their old relationship and that they both still did love each other.

The characters. Really there is only one character worth mentioning and that is Aiden. I LOVED Aiden's character, just when I thought I couldn't love him anymore I found out I could. I really felt for him when he was making the choice of what he would do about Alex and I felt his pain when he saw what his choice had done to her.

Overall I thought that this was an AMAZING novella and it is definitely worth a read.

This book was AMAZING, everything I had hoped for and more... This book completely surpassed my expectations and has pretty much left me at a loss for words. The plot. I loved the plot of this book, though I was a little bit confused at the start because I had forgotten a bit of what happened in "Pure" which I probably should have re-read before reading this but I got caught back up really quickly and from then on it was an action packed emotional roller-coaster for the next three hundred pages o...moreThis book was AMAZING, everything I had hoped for and more... I thought that she was very strong throughout the book and I loved being able to read about her again. I also really loved Aiden's character. He did struggle with his feelings for a lot of the book but I was glad to see him finally happy and that he made the right choice for himself no matter what the consequences. The one charcter that I didn't like throughout this whole entire book was Seth he pretty much turned back into what he was in the first book and then some, completely self-centred, her hurt Alex for probably over half the book and betrayed her trust in him, to say that I dislike him now would be an understatement. Overall I thought that this was a fantatstic book, full of unexpected events and it was just a really amazing book. Waiting till April for the next book is going to be hard but I guess I'll just re-read the series again.

Review:

I didn't know what to expect when I opened this book, I had high expectations because I had seen great reviews on it and had read the synopsis and it looked like something I would like, but I hadn't read any of Miranda Kenneally's work before and I was pleasantly suprised.

The plot. I loved the plot of this book. I loved the twist of Jordan being the captain of her school's football team, I thought that it put a great spin on what was already a great storyline because she not only had to navigate her changing feelings for certain people but she also had to be strong and be a great leader even though she had problems she was dealing with. I thought that the pacing of this book was great I never wanted to put it down. I also really ejoyed the relationships in this book because they are so realistic! Both the relationships between Jordan and Ty and Jordan and Henry were really realistic and I thought that they progressed at a good pace.

The characters. I really enjoyed Jordan's character. I thought that she was a very realistic and relateable character as she had her own problems with her father as well as relationship problems with people at school and I thought that she was strong throughout everything she went through. I loved seeing how she progressed throughout the book and in the end made the decision that was right for her.
I also really ejoyed Henry's character. For the first part of the book I thought that he was halerious and a great friend for Jordan and even when things started to go bad in their relationship and he started to pull away I could see that he was only doing it because he didn't want to ruin his friendship with Jordan.

Oberall I thought that this was a great start to the series and I cannot wait to start reading the next book.

Review:

I had very high expectations for this book when I finally picked it up because I had been hearing such great things about it and though it didn't meet my high expectations I was still pleasantly suprised.

The plot. I really enjoyed the plot, it was like nothing I had ever read before and I thought that the twenty boy summer bet that Frankie came up with was an interesting twist to the book and I was pretty suprised that Anna went along with it. I loved the emotion in this book aswell, I thought that it was expressed very well and I found it very easy to feel what Anna and Frankie were feeling because of the loss of Matt. I thought that the paced very well also, and it was written in such a way that I had to see what was on the next page and I also loved the flashbacks to Anna and Matt's past.

The characters. I thought that all of the characters were written very well in this book, I loved Anna's character, I thought that she was very relateable and a great choice to have her POV told, I loved seeign how she grew throughout the book and started to enjoy herself especially when she meet Sam and their relationship started to progress.
I also really liked Frankie's character, though I didn't like her at times I could see that her acting out was the way that she dealt with the greif of loosing her brother and I really felt for her. I thought that she did make some wrong choices in the book but she also did try to make up for them in the end.

Overall I really enjoyed this book, though for me it wasn't a five-star book it was still one I thoroughly enjoyed and is a book that I will be reading for summers to come.

Wow... What a book! When I went into reading this book I didn't really know what to expect, I had seen amazing reviews about it and I also read the synopsis a long time ago and loving it, but by the time it got around to ordering it and having it show up on my door step I had completely fogotten what it was about. But that doesn't mean that my expectations were low, not by any means because I remember thinking how great this book sounded and when it came to finally reading the book I couldn't put it down.

The plot. I loved this plot! I thought that it was a great spin on the forbidden love storyline that is used so often. I loved that all of the contact with Landon was done over email so there was a lot of added mystery of trying to figure out who he was. I also loved Lucas's character and seeing how both of their relationships with Jacqueline developed over the course of the book.

The characters. I really enjoyed reading all of the characters in this book, I thought that they were all written very well.
I really enjoyed Jacqueline's character, I thought that she was a very relatable character who was also very strong, who coped extremely well with what she went through. I also liked seeing how she coped with the things that she learnt about Lucas and how she tried to help him through his greif.
I also really loved Lucas's character, sure there was some deception on his part at the start of the book, but other than that I couldn't fault his character. I loved seeing the interaction between him and Jacqueline and also seeing how he started to open up a lot more when his relationship with her developed and how he started to come to terms with what had happened in his past.

Overall I really enjoyed this book, it was a very fast read and a book that I will definitely be recommending to a lot of people and re-reading in the future.

Review:

I really wanted to like this book, I really did. I had heard great things about it from people who like me had thought that the last book in the series was a huge dissapointment. But for me this book fell flat for me.

The plot. I don't know what it was about this book but there is just something about this book and the last that really didn't hold my interest. I thought that the plot had a lot of promise but was just executed in the wrong way and I also thought that it lacked depth. But in saying that I did think that there were some good plot twists in this book and I thought that the book flowed very well and was very easy to read.

The characters. I liked seeing that change in Sutton's character, in the last book I thought that it was just that she had been written wrong but when it came to reading this book I came to the realization that her character had changed for the better which I really liked.
I also really liked Emma's character. I thought that she was really relateable and I loved that even though she was so good at playing Sutton she still is able to hold onto her own personality.
I really enjoyed reading Ethan's character as well. I think that he has handeled everything that has happened throughout the series really well and he seems to take everything very seriously and believe in Emma.

Overall I didn't think that this book was the worst in the series but for me it defineitly wasn't the best either so I think this will be the last book in the series that I read unless I see some amazing reviews about the books that come out in the future.

I didn't have very high expectations when I went into reading this book just because I know that more times than not when celebrities try to go into other relms then what they are orginally known for it doesn't normally go well and for me this book fell flat. Review:

Words cannot describe my emotions right now... Which does sound a bit dramatic but it is non the less true. After finishing this book I am finding it hard to collect my thoughts enough to write this review but I thought I would give it a try anyway and see how it goes.

The plot. I have one word, LOVED! My friend recommended this to me a little over a year ago and I never picked it up, but when I was buying some books online I remembered she had reccomended it to me, I have to admit when I read up about it I was a bit skeptical because at the top of the synopsis it said if you were a fan of "50 Shades Of Grey" then I would like the book. Now I have never read 50 Shades and have no desire to, so I was really hoping that that reccomendation was wrong. Luckily I don't think this book was anything like "50 Shades Of Grey" not that I can really compare because I haven't read, it but going off of what I have heard about it. I really did love the plot of this book I thought that it was amazing, I thought the pacing was great the relationship between Abby and Travis was pretty realistic in the way that their feelings for each other developed throughout the book. I thought that the storyline was great aswell, yes it was the typical good girl falls in love with a bad boy but in this book and how everything was written I thought it worked. The ending I have to admit was pretty cheesy but I still couldn't stop reading.

The charcters. I loved the characters! I thought that they were all really realistic though I had a bit of trouble at the start desiphering who was who, but as I started to read it seemed to click pretty quickly. I loved Abby's character. I really liked that the book was told from her POV because I got to see how the relationship she had with Travis made her feel and see how her character changed throughout the book and I just thought that her character was really enjoyable to read.
I also really liked Travis ofcourse. Yes he was over protective but in a way I couldn't really fault it because he just wanted to make sure that Abby was safe. I loved seeing how his character developed throughout the course of the book and seeing him let his guard down around Abby. I also loved being able to see his pain when things wern't going so well for their relationship in the book, I liked that he showed how he was feeling to Abby and I thought it was portrayed very well in the story by Jamie McGuire.
And last but definitely not least America and Shepley. I loved them! I think if this book was without them I wouldn't have liked the story half as much. They had witty remarks throughout the book which made me laugh and also they were both really great friends to Abby and Travis.

Overall I loved this book and I think it has become one of my favourites and one that I will be reading for years to come. I was so glad to find out that it was the first in a series so I cannot wait for the second books release sometime next year, I will definitely be pre-ordering it, I would definitley reccomend this book.

Review:

This series has just put Jennifer L. Armentrout into a very close second place behind Richelle Mead in my top favourite authors, which from me is something big. I had really high expectations when I startes reading this book because I had loved Obsidian, but this book completely surpassed my expectations.

The plot. All I can say is WOW, what a rollercoster ride, the plot was so fast paced with so many twists and turns this would have been finished within a couple of hours if it hadn't been for having to finish assignments and helping my mum buy a new laptop. But really this book was just a complete joy to read, the pacing was great, there were so many twists and turns in the book, the characters were realistic and the relationships were so realistic in how they developed. Really it was just a great book.

The characters. I LOVED the characters, I feel a lot more connected to the characters after reading this book. I really loved Katy's character, I loved that in this book I got to see a bit more of her vulnerable side and also how her and Daemon's relationship developed throughout the book. I really felt for her in the choices she made, she really felt like she was doing what was best for everyone and I have to admire her for that.
Ahhh Daemon... I have seriously fallen in love with him after reading this book. I saw a HUGE change in his character while reading this book, he really started to let his emotions show and it just made him a really likeable guy and I loved seeing how his relationship changed with Katy through the course of the book and how he started to let his guard down... I am really looking foward to see what happens with their relationship in the next book.

Overall I have completely loved reading this book. This series has defineitly become one of my favourite series and it will be one that I read over and over for years to come, I really don't think I could tire of reading this series. And I cannot wait to see what's in store for Katy, Dee and Daemon in Opal, I'm so glad mines already on pre-order.

Review:

I completely fell in love with this book! I read it in one sitting because it was so engrossing and I just couldn't bring myself to put it down and do the assignments that were sitting on my desk undone.

The plot. To be honest when I first opened this book I had no idea what to expect because throughout my four years of reading I have never read an alien book so I was excited. I knew that it was going to be good because I had already read the "Covanent" series also by Jennifer L. Armentrout which I completely adore and this book was much of the same. I thought that the set up of the story was great, I could easily picture the characters and see what was going on in my head. I loved the storyline, it was like nothing I had ever read before and there were so many twists and turn in the plot that I had to keep turning the page to see what happened next.

The charcters. I loved the characters, they were all written really well and they all had really distinct personalities. I loved Katy's character, I loved having the story told from her POV because she was just so relateable and nice, I thought that she was a really strong character and I liked that she stood up for herself.
I also really liked Dee's character, she made the book such a joy for me to read, her bubbly personality was infectious.
And last but definitely not least Daemon... Okay so I really didn't like him at the start of the book, he just seemed way too full of himself and just really didn't like him. But as the book progressed I did find myself likeing him a lot more because I could see the internal struggle that he was going through. I liked seeing how he changed throughout the book as he started to spend more time with Katy, though he did still have some unlikeable moments.

Overall I thought that this was a great start to the series, I am so glad that I bought the second book and pre-ordered the third when I bought this book because I can tell that this is a series that I am going to love.

Review:

This series keeps suprising me. When I think things just can't get any better with this series they do.

The plot. I loved the plot, especially because it was about two of the side characters that I have seen thoughout the course of the series. I was interested to see what J.R. Ward would do with it and how she would get Manny and Payne together because Manny loved his job and I couldn't really see him giving it up. For me I felt that the plot of the book ran a little bit slower than the previous books but I still really enjoyed it. There was no lesser POV in this book but I found that I didn't mind not having their POV in the story because I have come to find in the last few books that it wasn't really nessasary for the story, but I really did like seeing the other vampire group's POV in this book and there were defineitley some unexpected things happened, especially towards the end and I thought that it was a really enjoyable read.

The characters. I loved Manny's character, I have loved him ever since he came along in Vishous's story, I thought that his character was really witty and I was hoping that I would get to see more of him again. I loved being able to see inside his head and see the loss that he felt for Jane's death (in Lover Unleashed) and seeing how he changed when he started to have a relationship with Payne.
I also really loved Payne's character. I will admit when I first started reading about her character in previous books I found her character to be boring and I found myself skimming and even sometimes skipping her chapters because I just didn't find her interesting enough to want to read things from her POV. But reading this book I really found a love for her character, I thought that she was really strong and knew what she wanted and really was a great match for Manny.

Overall I really enjoyed reading this book and I cannot wait to start the next one.

Review:

Best book in the series so far! I literally couldn't put this book down so I ended up reading it in one sitting, all 615 pages of it.

The plot. I loved the plot. When I found out this book was on John Matthew my expectations for the book went through the roof just because I knew the story was going to involve his inner circles POV's and his friend's are some of my favourite characters in the series so I couldn't wait to get inside Xhex, Blay and Qhuinn's heads, and they really didn't dissapoint. One of the main things that I loved about the plot of this book was ofcourse the action and the pacing of the book, but also how I got to see characters and relationships develop throughout the book and seeing how they all changed whether it be for the good or bad.

The charaacters. Like I said before I loved reading all of these characters because they were some of my favourties in the series so far and this book just really solidified that. John Matthew... Where to start. I have to admit when I first started reading about him the series I didn't like him but as I read about him more he really started to grow on me and eventually became one of my favourite characters. I thought that he was great in this book, I loved being able to see inside his head and also how he grew throughout the book as his relationship with Xhex started to change.
I also really liked Xhex's character, she has always been a favourite character of mine, but this book just made me like her even more, I loved being able to see into her head as well as being shown a bit of her past, I loved seeing how she changed throughout the book.
And last but definitely not least, Qhuinn and Blay, I really think they just need to hurry up and get together already! Their story is seriously breaking my heart, being in their heads and feeling their pain while reading their POV's seriously killed me, but also made me love their characters all the more.

Overall this would have to be my favourite book in the series so far and I cannot wait to see what happens to all these characters in the next books.

Review:

Wow, that is all I can say... This story just keeps getting better with each book I read I seriously cannot get enough.

The plot. I loved the plot, I thought that it was really fast paced especially towards the end and when I actualy did get the chance to pick up the book I never wanted to put it down. There were definitly a lot of plot twists in the book and definitly things happened that I did not see coming even from the first page of the book. The only downside for me in this book was the parts from Lash's POV, I really have liked these in the past but in this story I found myself just skimming over his chapters.

The characters. I loved the characters, I thought that they were all written really well and just made this book so interesting and ejoyable to read. Rehvenge... Where to start, he has been one of my favourite characters for a while so when I found out that this book was on him I was really excited to be able to see a bit more inside of his head, and he didn't dissapoint. I loved being able to see what he is really feeling as apossed to what he portrays to the world and how I got to see what he thinks of the things that he does and how he is very protective of the people that he cares about. I also loved deeing how he changed throughout the book once he got to know Ehlena.
I also really loved Ehlena's character, I thought that she was really strong and stood up for what she thought was right and didn't care what anyone else thought which I think made her a great match for Rehvenge. But one of the things that I loved most about her character was that even though that she was so strong she was still incredibly kind.

Overall I really loved this book and I thought that it was a great edition to the series, these books keep surpassing my expectaions and J.R. Ward keeps coming up with amazing plot twists so I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book.

Review:

I had very high expectations when I started reading this book use I have loved the previous two Courtney Summers books that I have read "Cracked Up To Be" and "Some Girls Are" but there was something about this book that seemed to fall a little flat for me and I found things I liked and didn't like when reading this book.

The plot. One of the things that I found with this book was that there was no real character set up, especially for the side characters, it just jumped straight into what was happening in the book - the zombie apocalypse - which I have to say I didn't really like and it caused me a few problems when it came to deciphering characters at the start. But aside from that I really did like the plot, this book isn't really about zombies, this book is more about people learning to survive. I thought that the book was a really quick read it took me a couple of hours and I have to say it was pretty enjoyable.

The characters. I thought that the charcters were all written really well they were all really believable and had realistic responses to everything that was going on and for the most part they were all really enjoyable to read. I loved Sloane's character. I thought that she was a great protagonist for the book and I loved seeing everything happening through her eyes and seeing her take on what was happening as well as how she developed through the book and started to let Rhys in. The other character that stood out to me in this book was Rhys, I always thought that he was a strong character throughout the book but I also liked seeing how he changed when his relationship started to develop with Sloane.

Overall I thought that it was a pretty good book, not one of the best that I have read by Courtney Summers but I still liked it.

I loved this book! It seems that the series just keeps getting better.
This was a really long read for me, I think it took me about a month to get through but if school hadn't taken up all of my time this book would have been finished within a day.

The plot. I absolutley LOVED the plot, there were so many unexpected things that happened which I really want to talk about (but I won't because I want to keep this spoiler free) all I can say is WOW. The book was so fast paced that I never wanted to put it down, if I had my way and I didn't have to write essays this book would have been finished within the day I started it.

The characters. With every book I read in this series I find myself becoming more attached to the characters. I see new layers to each of the brothers and I become more attached to them with each book I read.
I really loved Phury's character, he has always been one of my favourite characters but this book just made me love him even more, I loved seeing how he grew throughout the book and how he coped with being the primale and all that it entailed. I also loved seeing him change when he got to meet Cormia how he changed as their relationship developed throughout the book. I also really love Cormia's character, I have to admit when she first came into the series I didn't like her character because I didn't feel that she was very relatable, but seeing the world through her eyes and seeing her experience the human world has made me come to understand her character and I really have come to like her.

Overall I thought that this was a great edition to the series and I can't wait to see what's in store for the next four books that should be coming to my door on Monday!

Review:

Oh my gosh!! This series just keeps getting better and better. To be honest I have no idea what I am going to write for this review I'm still trying to collect my thoughts from reading this book, it has pretty much left me speechless.

The plot. I LOVED the plot. The two reasons that it took me so long to read it was one, because of school work and two, because I didn't want it to end, so I was trying to only read a little at a time (though that didn't always work out). I really loved the storyline in this book I thought that it was really interesting and I loved all the flashbacks into V's past where I got to find out more about how he got to be who he is now in the books. A lot of what happened in this book I was not expecting at all, there were so many plot twists and crazy things happening in this book that I was taken off guard a lot of the time and I found this book to be an emotional roller-coaster for me, especially towards the end. I also really loved the ending of this book, I thought that it showed a different side of the Scribe Virgin and I thought what V did for her in the end showed that he knew the extent of the sacrifice she made for him and wanted to repay her for it.

The characters. I loved the charcters in this book!! I thought that Jane was a really strong character who was also really relateable and a great match for V. I liked seeing how she grew thoughout the book and how she handled being involved in the vampire world. I really loved V's character aswell, he would have to be my favourite brother in the books, so when I found out that this book was on his character I was so excited to get to see more into his head and have the story focus on him, and it did not dissapoint. I loved seeing how his character grew thoughout the book and how he handeled the things that he struggled with and I think that out of the five books that I have read so far he had the hardest time out of all the brothers in what he had to deal with. I also loved seeing how his charcter grew throughout the book, I liked seeing him go from the hard character that he was in the beggining of the book and seeing how he changed when Jane came into his life and how he came to terms with the changes in his personality.

Overall I am completely in love with this book and now I have super high expectations for the next book so I am a little scared to read it. Out of the series so far this would have to be my favourite and I thought that it was a perfect book and I really cannot wait to see what happens to all the brothers in the books to come

Review:

I LOVED this book! Though I read it with really long intervals in between every time I picked it up again I could remember exactly what had happened before and then got completely lost in the story all over again.

The plot. I really loved the plot of this book, I thought that it was very different from all the other books in the series that I've read so far, I thought that there were a lot of great plot twists in the book and I really liked seeing the vampire world through a humans eyes and seeing how Butch tried to fit in, and I loved how descriptibe the writing was and how it felt like I was right there with the character I was reading about and seeing everything through their eyes.

The characters. I really loved all the characters in the book, they were all written flawlessly and they all had a lot of depth and back story to them which I loved. I really liked Butch's charcter, for me he has always been a unique character and I have loved reading about him in the previous books because I loved his witty comments throughout the book and I also loved seeing how he grew throughout the course of the book. I also really loved Marrisa's charcter, when I first read about her in the series she always seemed to come across as quite weak, but after reading this book I knew that I was dead wrong. Marrisa is a really strong character and I really loved reading about her in the book and reading the story from her POV and I loved seeing how she grew in the book and became more of her own person and really started to take control of her life and went after what she wanted.

Overall I thought that this was a great edition to the series and I liked how the main character in the story was human so I got to see his perspective of the vampire world. I also loved how there and multipul POV in this series so I get to see what is happening inside the heads of different characters throghout the book. I seriously cannot get enough of this series, I just ordered books 7-10 and I cannot wait to see what in store for all of the characters in the books to come.

Review:

This would have to be my favourite book in the series so far, I loved everything about it and thought it was a perfect book even with the really high expectations that I had for it after reading and loving the first two books in the series.

The plot. To be honest when I opened the book I had no ides what to expect, just because Zsadist is meant to be the dark and dangerous brother and when I read about his character in the other books he just seemed down-right cruel. But after reading this book I have a new found respect for him and he would have to be my favourite brother that I have read about so far. I also really liked the writting in this book and how descriptive it was, it made it really easy to become completely immersed in the story and before I knew it the book was over! I also liked how there were flashbacks into the past not just for Zsadist but also for Phury because I got to learn a little more about Phury aswell as Zsadist.

The characters. With every book in the series that I read I seem to be getting more attached to the characters, they are all written so well and are all really interesting. I LOVED Zsadist's charcter, I thought that he was a very strong character especially after reading about what happened in his past and I also loved seeign how his character evolved throughout the book. I also really ejoyed reading Bella's character, I thought that even when reading about he character in the second book "Lover Eternal" that she was strong. But reading the story from her POV showed me how strong she really was and I thought that she was just a really great character.

Overall I really did love this book it would have to be my favourite in the series so far and now I cannot wait to see what happens next to the brotherhood!

Review:

Oh My Gosh!!!! That is all I can say about this book, it was AMAZING!!!Even with the really high expectations I had for it after reading "Dark Lover" it still blew my expectations out of the water.

The plot. I LOVED the plot, it was so different to what I was expecting and I really enjoyed it. I thought that the book flowed at a really great pace and I found myself getting lost in the story and before I knew it the book was over (which I was pretty sad about). I really enjoyed how descriptive the writting was, I found that it was very easy to envision what was happening in the book which made the story so enjoyable and fast to read, and another thing I think I am really going to like about this series is the multipul narration, I find that it makes the book a lot more interesting than if it would have been just from one characters perspective because I get to see what happens in the minds of everyone within this society, rather than just the one character.

The characters. Ahh the characters in this book, I loved them all. I thought that Mary was a very interesting character and really not what I was expecting from this book, but I really did like her character, I thought that she was really strong and really nice and relateable. I also really loved Rhage's charcter, I liked how I got to see what he was thinking and feeling throughout the book and how he struggled with everything that he had going on.

Overall I thought that this was a great second edition to the series and I cannot wait to see what happens in the third book.

Third time was definitely the charm when it came to me reading this book. I had picked it up twice before over the two years that I have had it and read only about fourty pages in and putting it down. Another thing that I really liked about this book was a multipul narration and how I got to see every aspect of the society though the actual persons eyes, whether it be from the Brotherhood, a human, a lesser ect. which I really liked because I got to see how they viewed the world and how everyone was different. The characters. I also really loved the characters, they were all written so well and everyone seemed to have a lot of their back story explained in the book which I really liked, though I still haven't been able to really figure out which brother is which yet, but I think as I read more of the series that will change. I really loved Wrath's character and how I got to see how his character changed from being a slighty angry man and how he changed to being loving and protective when Beth came into his life. I also really liked Beth's character though I thought that she was strong from the start of the book I liked seeing how her character evolved into something even stronger especially towards the end of the book. Overall I think this is a very dangerous series for me because I know I'm going to have to read one book after the other, I'm just hoping I can finish the next five that I have before my uni assignments start piling up! But I really loved this book and it was a great start to the series.

Important Blog Update...

Hey Guys!

So I'm just writting this post to tell you that this blog is going to be quite in-active over the next few months (till the start of December) and that is because I am starting university!!
I may still be reading books from time to time but I won't be getting to read as often as I would like, because I will be reading text books, writting assignments and studying a whole lot.

But I will not be completely gone from the book world....

I have pre recorded a MASS of videos and I will be uploading one every monday (so that may be Sunday for some people) on my Youtube account which is here, there is a bunch of book reviews, discussion videos and a lot more stuff going up there which I think you guys would really like in the next few months.

There won't be a review on Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins because to be honest I just didn't finish it, I got about 100 pages in and still nothing was happening so I have put it down for the time being and I may pick it up again during the summer.

So I think thats about everything, once again I want to thank you for all of the support and positive feedback that you have given me over the years and I hope everyone is doing well.
